[RESOLVED] Close captioning not displaying on Chrome on my Windows 10 desktop
On my site, I have videos and for almost a year now, I have been adding .srt files to show closed captioning.
I use a plugin (Modern Video Player) on my WordPress site, and everything was working fine. I am not sure when it started but I noticed, last week or so, that the CC no longer displays if I use Chrome, but displays fine if I use Firefox or Edge.
I also noticed that it plays fine on my laptop on Chrome. The desktop and laptop have the exact same Windows version, and the same Chrome version.
I already checked several things:
- I disabled all the Chrome extensions: no change
- I reset everything on Chrome: no change
- I uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome: no change
- in case the antivirus/firewall were the problem, I temporarily disabled them: no change
- I checked and reset all the settings in Windows for accessibility: no change
Here is a page that is currently accessible to anyone:
https://scrapbookcampus.com/workshop...op-2/lesson-1/
It does not show the CC for me, on my desktop, when I use Chrome.
Any suggestion as to what else I can do/test/reset?
