My son's computer as of this week can't access any http sites. But it is connected and the email works as well as backup program...anything else.

I installed several anit everything software on it and it got rid of a TON of stuff. One of them was the srch.deali which was showing up in the browser window when trying to put in an address. That has been removed, but still won't connect to anything. The hosts file is correct. What else can I check to get IE working again?
