Hi. Starting around June, my mouse suddenly become much too sensitive or precise. This was noticeable in every game I played under Windows 98. My hardware hadn't changed at all. I have since tried another of the same mouse, mousepad, motherboard, you name it. I even tried a whole different computer. The mouse is just too fast, so I have eliminated it down to a software issue. Since it appears too fast on other people's computers, it leads me to believe something changed in June that set it back to "normal". Perhaps before I was playing with a mouse that was being slowed down somehow. Well, I'm trying to find a way to get back. Simply modifying the sensitivity in control panel doesn't produce the same effect. The mouse is like too precise. Before, it would skip pixels a lot and stuff, moving in clumps, which is actually what I want. Anyway, it's an Intellimouse Explorer 1.0. I tried a fresh Windows 98 installation, Windows ME, XP, still too fast. That's why I believe it was something that was slowing it down before and I didn't realize it. I know it's a longshot, but can anyone think of anything to look into?

Thanks.
