OT 9/10. Does anyone believe there is a coverup on what really happened on 9/11

I'm not totally convinced there is/was a coverup about the actual event and its alleged perpertrators although some of the evidence is very compelling but I most certainly believe there are ongoing coverups on the actions and inactions of the government before during and after 911.

I still remember the day it happened like it was yesterday.
They no longer show footage on television but I have downloaded and burned to cd every video I could find.
As for the pentagon thing, there were multiple witnesses that saw the plane at low altitude over the freeway, heading for the pentagon, but no one that I recall saw the actual impact.
And to even suggest that these witnesses could have been gov't people or paid off is obsurd at best!
Just more conspiracy garbage from the flipside croud.

Well that video was certainly long and detailed. I have worked with steel and aluminums amoung other metals all my life.

When you heat steel it becomes more pliable not brittle. Now if the heat were to cause say one side of any of those buildings to bend then the steel could happen to break in several spots. But the video showed the steel as being shattered. Many Many Pieces. The heavy steel beams in the center should not have shattered no matter what though. They may have bent and even broke in two or three places but not shattered.

I never even heard anything about building 7 at all. I did however see the collapse of that building in the video. It clearly was a demolition job.

So now after viewing all that.... Is our government responsible for killing thousands of american citizens? Or is it terrorist agression? Without the rubble to sift through there is no physical evidence to analyze is there.

The video gave me a sickening feeling and I don't want to believe what I know is true. I cannot fool myself and I now am just left in awe. Our government obviously has too much power. We pay too much in taxes. Laws are slowly taking much of our freedom away. The lies are getting more and more perposterous and this is either a very large fabrication of evidence or .....???

The only thing that makes me wonder right now is the collapse of the twin towers was in 2001 and the video now comes out in 2004 durring election campaign time?? There is plenty of evidence/video around to back up the claims in the video. Man this is really sad!

The was a program last night called ' The 9/11 Conspiracies' and it was the first documentary about 9/11 for a couple of years.

That just bought back the images of what happend i couldnt really couldnt concentrate on the program.

All i can say was that program gave me weird feeling in my stomach

What trouble? Government intervention? Legal issues? Is this not America? Arn't our rights protected under the constitution? You Know freedom of speach?

We have a right to know what happened. Our families have a right to know if there was a cover up! If there was a cover up somebody needs to pay for thousands of deaths for there to be any permanent healing!

If the trouble your refering to is that people will know the truth and get angry??? Yeah your right they will get angry.

I just don't get how it's a bad thing to know the truth. Now if I am lied too then that is another story isn't it.

Sometimes off topics are very powerful things. I respect the mods here for allowing powerful things to be spoken. The truth can only be found by looking (whether your looking visualy, verbaly, or scientifically, etc...). Sticking your head in the sand and doing nothing about the crimes on humanity opens you up for future incidence. That is the real trouble isn't it? Don't be too eager to accept things as things are often not as they seem. That video points out a lot of things as to how things could not have happened on how the media and scientists claimed they did. I am not so stupid though as to believe much of anything without first hand knowledge. But it certainly does make me want to ask questions and curiosity makes me want to know the answers too. You pretty much know if your lied to though, don't you?

Many of you probably won't post on this. It is powerful stuff and will raise emotions too. Keep in perspective the past events and the curent events. There is some motivation always for why things happen like this. So much is wrong with all that has happened. I fear the evidence is overwhelming that there has been illegal activity and conspieracy. Try to be analytical and not reactionary on what you have seen. More violence and deaths are not the answer. Thats not what america is about. The criminals must be brought to justice and imprisioned at the very least. Thats what America is about!

That is what Iraq leaders and Osama Bin Laden are feeling! If for no other reason then the past when Saddam nerve gassed and killed 40,000+ of his own people in the 70's. The terrorist actions of Osama and the alquida are well known worldwide. They are paying for there actions as well! There is justice in the world and if our government is involved in killing or covering up the killing of it's own people then they will have literly millions to fend off. Last time I checked there wern't millions of politicians!

So if there is trouble your worried about from the people of the USA then you or the government probably have done something pretty heinous to them. You got whats comming to you. It's just boils down to a Karma thing doesn't it? Treat others the way you want to be treated. Go around killing others then expect one day for somebody to kill you. Talk bad about others then expect somebody to talk bad about you. A lesson that should have been learned in grade school as it has been tested by time and is so very true in our history of this country! The people of this country have a limit on how much they will take. I am not just talking about the government either. The people of this country are united and very strong. Thats what makes us great. Sure we can be lied too. But don't think that when the truth comes out, all will be ok! Our history proves were not that way at all! Never have been. Many politicians have gone to jail in our past. "Lying" alone as a president has large criminal repercusions too! Imagine the penalty of killing thousands of your own people. I't's hard to say all of what happened but we should be asking shouldn't we?

It doesn't help or add credibility to a lot of those types of presentations when they produce them with that kind of alternative/spooky/mind expanding/altmusic soundtrack type of treatment... it gives them the look and feel, as 10445 alludes to, of a made for tv, mysterious, tinfoil hat, infotainment, X-files program and although it makes it more entertaining to watch it also very much detracts from its believability.

I have links for contacting both my congressional representative and Senator. when I come across the sort of thing that BJ gave, I send it along to them.

Not that it would make any 'real' difference. But that way, they will know, that "I" know, and am watching very closely their reactions to this sort of thing as election time rolls around.

Having had the misfotune of coming across a jet liner crash site within a day or two of the actual event many years back on my way home from Florida I can atest to the kind of devastation and amount of wreckage left from such an incident. I will never be convinced that a jet crashed into the Pentagon and vaporized upon impact. There simply wasn't enough wreckage left behind or devastation done to the surrounding area. The crash site at the World Trade Center on the other hand clearly demonstrates the carnage left behind.

Do I believe there is a coverup on what really happened on 9/11?
There is little doubt in my mind Bin Laden and his boys were behind 9/11 but I also believe the government used the incident as an opportunity to hide a multitude of sins of thier own making.

Interesting OT. Well, it's appropriate, today being three years since. I still remember so clearly what a gorgeous, sunny, balmy but not humid day it was here in Philadelphia. Downright eerie.

I can't claim to know anything about the physics of it all, but I do feel that either the government had way too many ties to the Saudi royal family, which has recently been revealed to have much more to do with it than you would imagine -- or that the administration simply refused to put 2 and 2 together. I do feel that the Clinton administration was way more on top of this, indeed even probably prevented a millennium attack of guys coming from Canada.

I do believe there was a coverup. I'm just not sure which things are true or not.

Have you guys seen this page? It's fascinating albeit a bit loony in parts (mostly from those posting thoughts on the site).

The state of the building after the crash is dramatically covered in The Pentagon performance report [pdf] of which page 30 clearly shows the impact area of around 27mts not 15 mts as some would have you believe.Page 53 also displays a overhead diagram of the affected area and the damage caused.
The lack of wreckage is quite clearly covered by the fact that the planes superstructure is made of Aluminium

So while large blocks of aluminum ignite at about 2300K, sufficiently small particles of aluminum have nowhere to conduct local temperature fluctuations away to. Thus aluminum flakes and powder are extremely explosive and can ignite spontaneously in air at room temperature.

104456 according to the The Pentagon performance report you linked to, intresting reading BTW, the right wing was sheared off because it hit a generator outside the building. Somehow the wing vaporized when in similar conditions found at other crash sites (meaning out of doors) at least the frames of both wings are found nearly intact. What I find most interesting is that it is possible to superheat an aircraft so that it's structure turns to powder but human remains do not; the terrorist pilots and some of the hostages bodies were located inside the strike path and still identifiable?

I'm not convinced but it seems you are. BTW can I interest you in some sunny beachfront property in Iqaluit at bargain prices? According to the Kyoto Accord it will soon become quite tropical due to all the greenhouse gasses we keep releasing.
