    opera 3.62

    i copy a html file to floppy from a win 98 computer stick in a win 3.1 computer and why wont opera 3.62 just read it?off line i mean.. it worked a few times then it wont work

    ok , i figured it out .. all you do is click up the browser and click open at top on file . click drives choose a and click in the file.. surprising noone answered this ..

    Maybe because many of us never have, nor will, use Opera on a Windows 3.1n box?

    well people should use it easy to install from one floppy disc.. i wonder what it will be like on net with it though

    at least i can read html files

    You may find problems as many pages will not load correctly i.e. java or active x and you may also have problems trying to surf without an 128 bit encrypted browser on may of the more secure sites.

    The origional post has only been up about 36 hours give us all a chance to read it
