Do Goog Servers go down periodically?
Seems more and more I'm running into this:
Oops! Google Chrome could not find www.google.com
Try reloading: www.*google.*com
Additional suggestions:
Access a cached copy of www.*google.*com
Search on Google:
I change browsers, same thing. It's not MY connection, bec. obviously I'm here at this site and all my lights are go.
This is so annoying, thinking of abandoning Goog search for Bing.

I only use Bing on MSN.com and MSN.com has issues from time to time. When it does I go to Google.
No fuss no muss.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

The www.google.com page should never return that message.
Things to try:
Try different DNS Servers. Google's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 might work.

Google has hundreds of thousands of servers spread all over the world.

I have been online for several years and I have never known the Google search home page to not be available. That's not saying it's never been down but if you are seeing it down a lot, there is a problem on your end somewhere. Issues could be your ISP, your computer, your browser, DNS lookups or whatever. But IMO, Google is not down in the way you are finding it so...

Alright, this is ridiculous and it happens more and more. I'm typing in the website, www.surveymonkey.com and this is what I get:
503. That’s an error.
The service you requested is not available at this time.
Service error -27. That’s all we know.
It happens no matter what browser I use. There must be an explanation.
Did a search of the error code:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findby...a/503error.htm
The 503 Service Unavailable error means that the web site's server is not available, usually due to maintenance or server overloading
It still doesn't tell me why it happens more and more. At least 2-3 times a day.

You can try using this site next time you find a website is inaccessible..
http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
It will try the site you are having problems with and let you know if they can access it from their location. If they can then perhaps the issue is not with the remote site but is with one of the things HAN mentions above.
VirtualDr email notices are not working.
Check back regularly for responses.

Now I have seen the Temp Internet folder get corrupted and cause problems like that. And get a nice pleasant surprise most of the time when I clean it out.

Starting to sound more like a problem with your connection to the 'net.

I don't know what is the problem, but it keeps happening. I just tried to go to a site awardsdaily.com and used three browsers and it routed me to Google Search. I do a CCclean every week. I have to shut down and reboot to get to the sites.
