Just thought I would throw in my 2cents worth regarding CDR's. I have been burning now for about 3 years and I use the cheapest CDr's that I can find ; like the ones in the Sunday flyers [Staples,Office max, etc] 50 and100 discs with a rebate netting the cost to abt $10. or less for either. I have had good results with about all brands. Most mistakes have been my own. I have several burners , mostly TDK from 16x-40x. I burn at either 8x or 12x. The slower burns are are more stable and less prone to errors. I am more into MP'3 burns than .wav. A good program for .wav burns is one called Acoustica MP3 Burner. It won't burn to MP3 but will burn MP3 to .wav. A neat part is that it will search for incompletes and alert you whether you want to burn it or remove it. At the moment I am having a bit of difficulty figuring out why some burned classical music [mp3] won't play on my DVD player, but will play on my neighbors... Could use some input onput on that.....
