Noia 2.991 has worked just fine for me, although I am updating it now that you mentioned it.
Adblock 0.5.2.056 works just fine for me, not crashing FF.
SSparks, I am on radiotimes.com, everything seems ok with that. Did you check your version of Adblock?

Sorry for taking so long to reply, I've been having problems with my NIC, so I've been using my other PC for a bit, which is still running 1.07. I've installed the updated version of Adblock on my main rig now, and I'll see what happens.
    Nick.

Well this afternoon I crashed again so back to the default theme.

But then after ****down and reload of Firefox it was just sitting there booting to the 3 home pages I have set and it crashed.

No other application was running but obviously there are some background tasks.

It pops up a dialog box as per this thread http://discussions.virtualdr.com/sho...d.php?t=197268 and if I click cancel, Dr Watson starts up and produces the file as attached to the other thread and then shuts FF down.

If I just click OK to terminate, it just shutsdown FF.

The memory address might be different too.

I lied actually I had one tab open and it had VDr in it.

I was just trying to post this answer and 3 times in a row it crashed with just one tab with VDr in it.

So......with little conclusive evidence it would appear that the common denominator for me is VDr

Something running on the VDr web pages is causing me the problem ?

Probably badly written flash ads again

I have unistalled all extensions and themes as will keep monitoring.

    Is that an extension ?

It's taken me three attempts to get this reply in.

Everytime I come to VDr now it crashes.

Maybe my flash needs to be flashed with the latest version ?

poppy4: I believe the flash killer in SWB is for IE only.

Nix: The current flash is 8.0 r22. It's my understanding anything lower may be security compromised. You can check your version in FF by typing aboutlugins in the address bar. EDIT: Grrr! BBoard software is placing a smilie in my syntax! You should type about (then a ":" no quotes) plugins

If you need to upgrade, here is the uninstall link. Do that before loading the new one. (You might remove flash anyway and see if your crashes are gone??)
    Just pick your version http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/kn...fm?id=tn_14157

To upgrade, here the latest http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/ Which ever browser you are running when viewing the page will bring up the correct version for that browser.

I found an extension called flashblock and installed that.

I'll see how I go on Monday when I'm back at work.

And if it works I'll try your suggestion Han.
