    Question Guidelines for Adware/Spyware software?

According to an Associated Press story by By ANICK JESDANUN,
AP Internet Writer, released Oct 27, 9:06 PM EDT, "A coalition of anti-spyware vendors and consumer groups published guidelines Thursday to help consumers assess products designed to combat unwanted programs that sneak on computers." The article goes on to say that, "The new guidelines from the coalition assign risk levels to various practices common with spyware and adware." Does anyone have information about where to obtain or view these guidelines? I usually read the list of "rogue" spyware protection software at web sites that maintain such lists based on their unbiased testing and consumer complaints. I'd appreciate any information on the published guidelines. Thank you.

    add to those...
#4 "Freeware" sites...bear in mind, Adware began as a means to pay developers without need to charge for software. The developer got paid a cut based on the advertising "hits" their software generated.
    #5 Crackz sites

...as based on our experience, having been doing this since 1997, when the first trojans appeared.
