    Slow boot up

    I have Windows me and as of late my booting up goes real slow and my documents opems and IE browser page opens also. It just started this lately. Where can I find the file to shut these programs off in bootup? thanks

    Scan system in question with an up to date AntiVirus, and if applicable, Anti-Malware software.

    To stop startup programs from starting up with Windows, go to Start|Run|msconfig|Startup tab, and untick what you do not want to start up.
