Reverend--Looks like you have NewDotNet spyware.
    Follow the procedures here

    That's "Quickbrowsersearch" Steve.....it's a browser hijack.

Try CWShredder Rev. available here: http://www.intermute.com/products/cwshredder.html

I actually know what it was. (typo was an accident)
Was thinking maybe when Reverend tried to explain it he might actually do a search, pardon the pun, and find the answer to this common problem.

liam858--Do you think it best to use CWShredder before having tried the various other programs on the sticky link I provided?
Neither Quickbrowsersearch nor NewDotNet are listed as one of the malware programs to which CWS applies.

(P.S. Looks like TrendMicro have taken over Intermute and CWS)

Jim - I thought CWShredder would be the first thing to try for this kind of thing just by instinct...should of checked it out in depth...cheers for the link....Trendmicro took over in June.

Originally developed by Merijn Bellekom of the Netherlands, CWShredder™ was owned and maintained by InterMute until June of 2005 when InterMute was aquired by Trend Micro.
