    Exclamation no signal after five minutes

    heres my operating sys windows xp
    3200 atholon xp
    2x 256 ddr ram
    1 * cdr n dvd rom
    6800 le graphics.
    my problem is after 5 min of anything slightly challanging graphicly ie (anyting above solitare , sid meiers pirates is good example). i lose the signal to my tft and i get the message no input signal 2, then i have to unplug the comp n reset to get the system back,the base unit isn't crashing but if i cant see im stuffed. please please help as i nearly have no hair left and i am thinkin about smashing the computer up just to feel better.

    Open your case and make sure that the fan on the graphics card is spinning. Sounds like it might be over heating.

    Check if your CPU fan is running and the vanes of the heatsink are not blocked with dust

    yeah i thought it was over heating but the fans are spinning i hope its nothing to do with the omega drivers i installed for the graphics card and i have given it a vacume no dust thankz though

    Try blowing a regular house fan directly on the video card. See if that makes a difference. Are you over clocking it by any chance?

    Id suggest removing and reseating the graphics card it sounds like it may be creep caused by the heat of extended use.

    i did turn it up a little bit with the omega drivers but i dont think im overcooking it at the moment (can they melt?) i will try reseating it and let you know, i will also try regula house fan cooling system, then i'll build a bonfire and get the matches out i am currently working on a design for a november the 5th pc guy hybrid

    Bonfires make for terrific smoke signals. You can use that as an alternative to the internet.
    If you overclocking, turn the overclocking off and see if that makes a difference.

    And you can check your temps and voltages with this nice utility, it may or may not give your graphics card temps, depending on the model.
