Another memory
It took awhile of searching to finally remember what Louie Nye looked like.
There are only a couple of pictures available, and just thumbnails, but I finally got the image together of the cool-cat who always wore the stylish hat and was most famous for his introductory "Hi-Ho Stevareno!"
I haven't seen him since those memorable days as one of the regulars in Steve Allen's Man in the Street skits that ran every week. That was in the year 1958, and it was a fun show.
Steve's laugh was even unique, and he did a lot of it while Louie was on camera.
Louie was around 50 at that time and remarkably, remained active in entertainment all the way up until about 2003.

He was a terrific comedic actor.....had quite a long career. Frankly, I was surprised to hear about his passing this weekend; I thought he had passed away a long time ago.
