    dsl with router randomly and annoyingly drops

    Hi,

    I have verizon dsl using a westell 2200 modem and a linksys wireless B router. The connection randomly drops and reseting the router automatically reconnects it. The router is set to keep alive 20 sec and the MTU is disabled. It is a pppoe dsl connection with dynamic ip. Thanks.

    The default for a dsl connection is to have a MTU of 1400 to 1492. I'll bet that might help some of those drops.
