You can connect it via the router with a CAT5 cable to X-Box live if that is what you mean.

I do not want to mod, manipulate, or do anything to the hardware OR software of my xbox. When I play Halo 2 on xbox live We get Cheated ALOT. and Frankly im getting sick and tired of it. I heard that their was a thing called "bridgeing" so that you get "Host" in Matchmade games of Halo 2. If I get Host people cannot cheat. and Problem solved.
BTW the process Modding the xbox is not illegal, but if you have copied or pirated games. then it is.

A quick search brings up this site:
Q
How do I set up a game with rules that I choose for Live play?
A
Instead of using our matchmaking system, you can start or join an Arranged Game which allows you to customize rules, maps and equipment to suit your tastes. Invite friends to join you and form a party, noting that the Arranged Games have no effect on your overall standing in the rankings.

Hope this helps.

thanks for the help but you dont quite understand, lol. that is a totaly different thing you got there. Arranged games are games you can only play with your friends. Matchmaking throws you into a pool of all the players on xbox live. then it chooses the best matches. After it has done that it chooses the best suitable "host" for that game. the host acts as the server of that game. I want to know how to set up a bridge with my comp and xbox. so that It choses me as host every time.
edit* sorry I posted this in the wrong part of the forums
