jwisneski-- IE Tools|Popup Blocker is only to toggle WinXP's Popup Blocker. You must have another one installed--the reason for SpywareDr's question.
Sometimes having more than one popup blocker running can cause problems. But I run both Windows' and Google's.

Welshjim-- A quick question. Will the Google Pop Up Blocker run with Firefox, or will it and the FF blocker interfere with one another? I know there's a tool bar version for FF, just wondered about the two blockers.

I'm at 28356--Can't answer that one since I do not run Firefox. Maybe someone that does can answer your question.
In any event you can just see what happens running both Firefox and Google blockers. If you have no problems it would seem all is OK.
Having the Information Bar tell you about a Popup is no problem, unless you love popups.

I used to run the Google toolbar in FF, and there were no conflicts.

    FF works

    hello all,
i have spybot ver1.4 i just ran a scan and found no problems, tried different settings (block pages silently) spybot and hijack_this have the latest updates available.. i fooled around with the firewall settings in XP (leaving then back on)
NOW i have these same java script files on two home networked computers. I run through a router this computer has another HDD that i have been manually swaping with the HDD that has XP everything works fine on both pc's (win 2k)
i have installed mozzila FF and the javascript files will run on the XP pc with no problems. i know have these JS files on both HDD's (xp win2k) they will only not work with XP-internet explorer on th XP pc)...can i uninstall I.E. or is it part of XP as i remeber have difficulty uninstalling I.E. previously thanks john

when i mean the JS files don't run i mean the whole page shows blank when clicking on a script button for instance, before this happened i could manualy
disable the pop-up blocker message at the top of I.E. and the script would still run, now nothing
