xp-service-pack-1-or2-?
hello all,
i have been using win 2000 for a while i now am installing a pc with xp, should i use service pack 1, or 2 ? (are all the buggs out of 2?) thanks john

Service pack 2 gives a more secure system and you can slipstream it with the application in my sig pre install if you wish.

The service pack hasn't changed since it was released. By and large there weren't too many problems with it. The main ones noted were a few certain already existing programs didn't behave well with it and they were pretty much all patched and it was also determined that it was best installed on a clean virus and spyware free computer, ideally at the same time as the initial OS install (which you're doing)

Good for you jwisneski dont forget to install a good firewall and antivirus too.
