Kerio Personal Firewall will be discontinued
Kerio Personal Firewall will be discontinued as of December 31, 2005. It will not be available for purchase after this date. Subscriptions will not be renewed. Technical support will be provided to all customers with valid subscriptions until the end of 2006.

verry odd that a good firewall like kerio is being written off many people use there firewall products hell its the only product i knew kerio did :O
shame that it canot be sold on or even given to open source so it can be developed further

It is a shame, ive never used Kerio but I understand it is a decent firewall.

Bummer. That sort of announcement often means it's been sold to another company and it will be released with a new name possibly bundled with some other security programs.

Kerio will be gone in a few months. Sygate bought out by Symantec. Who would have believed this just a few weeks ago??? Doesn't bad news come in three's? What's next? Another "unmentioned" AV giant buying Outpost or ZoneAlarm? May be time to breakout the tinfoil hats...
