    Murf--for reasons too long to describe, I went into the Opera site twice on Wednesday. Got a different code each time. Neither is the one you post. I just assumed they were handing out different codes to prevent a "generic" one from being passed around.

    Hum, hope I didn't do something illegal, as that is the code I got. Don't think so as they were FREE...I just extended the period of time....

    I'll donate some money to them. Any company that doesn't play ball so closely with M$ is ok by me and worth it.

    Murf--I was not suggesting you did anything illegal. I just thought, based on my experience as posted, that Opera indeed was not passing out generic registration codes that could be used more than once. Guess I was wrong.

    It's pretty cool what you can do with it too. You are able to create toolbar buttons that once clicked on, can open a program of your choice . I have 5 buttons on mine that do the following;

    Open the page I am viewing in FF.
    Ditto for IE.
    Open Irfanview and show clipboard contents.

    Next two are for opening a couple of programs I use for hijack logs.

    Thanks for the heads up on this registration too .
