the case has an opening on the side for an additional fan so I probably will put another one in. And also, I put back my old fan in (the one that constantly runs at 4500 rpm) and the temperature went down. However, the fan still roars like a jet engine and it's really disturbing. Do you know of any case fan that runs at that speed but is quiet? For some reason, the antec fan does not run above 2800 rpm (but its quiet). Do fans have max speeds? Can you give me advice on a quiet case fan that runs at high speeds (4000+ rpm). And as far as I can see, my case has a second set of holes to install a larger fan so I'm assuming those holes are for a 120 mm fan. I will go to the store and get one when I have time.

A possible option could be a noise dampening kit, you should be able to pick one up pretty inexpensively and should help do the trick for keeping the jet engine low in volume. http://www.coolerguys.com/840556014003.html
If the fan is just noisy in general then try the dampening material, but if it is rattling around on the case and vibrations making noise you could try: http://www.crazypc.com/Merchant2/mer..._Code=8307DK80
