ISTbar Embedded in Registry
Hello
I need some help and advice on how to safely remove ISTbar from my system. It currently shows up in:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\aspfile\persistenthandler
I have detected it using Spy Emergency 2005. It removes it, or atleast it shows it does, and if I run another scan after removing it, it does not detect it. But, the next day, when I run a regular scan again, there it is....in the same place.
I also run Ad-Aware, AVG, Xoftspy, Spyware Doctor. None of these seem to detect it. Only the Spy Emergency 2005 seems to find it.
I know that the persistent handler has to do with functions like copy and paste and I wonder if this is why, lately, I run my mouse over something to copy and it takes several swipes to get it all highlighted so I can copy?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. If you need any other information, just let me know!
Thanks So Very Much!!!!
