PC to TV how?
hello all,
i am thinking of using a tv as more or less a monitor, i know next to nothing
of how to accomplish this i would like some input...it is my understanding that
a tv lacks the resolution of a monitor, but how bad is the picture quality?
are any name brands better then others? thanks john

I think your going to need a graphics card with S video out and a TV with S video in and a cable of course. It works fine for watching movies if your computer has a DVD drive, But as far as using it for a monitor its gonna suck. You would do much better with a bigger monitor as the resolutions and picture quality are much better. I had my computer set up like that for watching movies a while back, and it worked fine. But as far as computing I was not at all impressed.
Happiness is a journey, not a destination. So work like you don't need money, Ride like you've never crashed, and dance like no one's watching!!!!!

Yep, I agree with rbc1100, it'll be OK for movies, but that's all. For normal computer stuff it'll be virtually unuseable.
Nick.
