mausau2000, The article refers to Microsoft ending support for Windows 2000, and stating that there will be no Service Pack 5, but there is a rollup of updates(around 50) that Win 2000 users can download before support ends that should fix a lot of problems in SP4.

I have a W2K CD with SP4 slipstreamed into it. Can the rollup be slipstreamed the same way onto the already slipstreamed CD? Or rather, can I make another CD and slipstream both SP4 and the rollup into it?

Yes, i dont see why not, after a little research i found that it is possible so that you just boot the cd and everything gets installed at once.

Might be my next little project . The SP4 was my first attempt and thanks to John Steven everything went well.
It is so much easier doing a clean install with the service packs already included.
