Lost My Network??? [Solved]
My Desktop PC and Laptop are networked through ADSL. Being a novice it took me ages to be able to achive this ages ago. And it was working perfectly OK but all of a sudden I can not network.
I can see my the network icons on my laptop (view workgroup computers).
They are "Laptop" and "host".
But for some reason I can only see my "host" icon on my PC.
Could you please tell me how can I add my "Laptop" to my PC that I can network again.
Sorry about being a real i....t.
Thank you.
PS : My laptop is XP HE, SP2.

Sorry to trouble you guys....Found the reason...Laptop's IP address was changed (no idea why and how). I put the new IP to Zone Alarm and everything is back to normal.
Thank you.

The ip address likely changed because you have your computer set to automatically obtain an ip address. You can configure ZoneAlarm and enter a range of ip addresses or assign your machine a static ip.
