Unofficial Winows 98SE service Pack!
Has anybody ever tried the unofficial Windows 98SE Service pack? You can get and look at it here Unofficial Windows 98SE Service pack
If it ain't broke, you arn't trying hard enough!!

Sounds quite interesting. I wouldn't try it on my main machine though. I might have a look on a trial computer, if I have time. Thanks for the link.

It may be perfectly legitmate (and probably is.) But I completely agree with usil. I would not run it blindly on a PC that couldn't be easily re-formatted... It it works ok, it might be something to keep tucked away for the future.
At this point, Microsoft still offers all Win 98SE patches via Windows Update. But that will obviously go away at some point. So if one would want their old 98SE machine running as well as it can, this all-in-one patch may be the only way to get this stuff.

I have a W98 pc that I would like to upgrade to W98SE. Might this be the way to do that? ... wdci
