BIOS flash problem

Currently running BIOS v 1.04-3, would like to go to 1.08 but PC says BIOS not compatible, unsure how to proceed. I am pretty sure this is the correct manufacturer.

You need to be positively sure you have the right flash file, if you mess up you can render your computer useless. Download the everest program below, it will tell you what BIOS you have. Sidewinder

I have flashed thousands of systems (literally) including high-end servers for companies and not once have I rendered a system useless. I have the correct mainboard, and BIOS revision. I have contacted the vendor, thanks anyway.

Did you try taking it in steps - v 1.07 and then up to 1.08??
