    An audio CD

One time, if I recall, when inserting an audio CD I saw the name of the artist displayed - now I don't.

I have since replaced the original CD with a combo DVD/RW-CD. I can bring up the Nero or WMP player, but can't remember the other audio player that displayed the names. (It may have been with the other CD drive and when it mentioned copying to the HDD - the names were shown).

    Could that have been?

No, BJ, never had d/l musicmatch. What I may do is replace the CD drive with the original and see if that makes a difference, thought I don't see why it should. Thanks!

I don't either, but it's one of those things that keep nagging at one's ability to solve a problem.

BJ, guess I figured out what I had done previously. When inserting an audio CD, the WMP box pops-up. When I select *Copy music from CD using WMP* the artist and composer show up. I had, not doubt, copied to the HDD and then during playback from the HDD the names were listed. Thanks again!
