    Rebooting

    New system:
    AMD 3500+
    Gigabyte mb
    1GB DDR memory
    200GB HDD....

During installation Windows recognize 200GB HDD, it's ok, but after "Setup is copying files" computer keeps rebooting. If install on 80GB ATA HDD installation is OK.
Any idea what could be a problem??
    thanks

Is the version of XP you're trying to install at least SP1? If not, then that is required for 48-bit LBA support (which is any drive over 137gb requires).
Please remember to post back whether your problem is resolved or
not, so that others may gain from the knowledge.

Test the RAM. You can run either or both of these utilities from a floppy:

    Memtest86

    Windows Memory Diagnostic
    Nick.
