    BHO from SpyBot

    I just downloaded the new version of SpyBot. In the process of downloading, I received a warning from MicrosoftSpyware, stating "unknown browser helper object (BHO) requires approval" "allow or block". I blocked it. Would it be wise to allow?
    I need your feed back.

    IMHO you should allow it, as it is part of the protection SpyBot S&D can deliver, blocking bad downloads.... I use it and also Block all Bad pages silently, and have had no problems.......on a side note, just to be sure about this new version, check under settings/ignore products and make sure there is nothing checked that you don't want to exclude.....I did this and found three items checked to be excluded, that should not have been....so I unchecked them before scanning.
