Hi Usil, buddy they say when you become useless at everything else you teach, currently I have an IT class that is doing an intensive course. I am mentor and control (old comp scientist don't die they just smell that way), anyway your post helped quite a few today... so on behalf of the struggling rabble I thank you... BTW the timing was impecable... next week it's wireless networking ... I know we can count on your assistance

Hey Jenae, thanks for the positive feedback
I wish I was that clever, but I just quoted the article more or less.

Why does the Radeon X700 cost less, it has higher ram. I thought higher ram was better. ????

Nope not necessarily, a 9200 ATI with 256 RAM gets out performed by a 9500 128mb, its the clock speed that matters, check out the manufacturers website for whatever card you want and there should be a breakdown of specs in a nice comparison chart.
