    FireFox extensions

    Hi there,

I have been using the FF extension PrintIt for some time. Right click on a page and the options include Print Preview and Print.

Checked for FF up-grades recently and there was a new PrintIt up-grade that I installed.

Now when I right click, I have Print Preview and Print appearing twice. Presumably the old one and the new. How do I get rid of the older version? Do I have to uninstall the extension and reinstall the new version?

    Many thanks in advance.

I would have thought it should have just updated however if you go to tools/extensions and you can see the old version still installed then highlight it and use the Uninstall button below.

Been there, done that! Only one version listed and I honestly don't know if it is the new or old version.

Guess I should go to the relevant site, save the extension, uninstall and then reinstall.

Only a bit of a drag!

Found the relavant FF extension page. I just did an auto up-date and that was my mistake. Should have unistalled the older version of Print It first.

Now I have to unistall the newer version, reinstall the old version, uninstall the old version and reinstall the new version. This way, I will not have the multiple context menu entries!

    Wow.
