Direct X9c not being compatible with windows XP?
whenever I try to install directX9B or C, it gives me a message saying it has not passed windows logo cerification
I have not tried any other versions of DirectX yet, I tried one from my Doom3 disk, one from my UT2k4 disk, and one from my B4ME disk..
I'll attach a screen
this is just dandy, cause I can't seem to be able to play any of my newer games with my new 6600GT.., what should I do?

Grab the redistributable from here and try installing that.

that file is pretty large.., I think I am going to have to wait till tommorow when I bring this thing over to a friend's house, who has DSL..
any other suggestions that can be done without making me wait 3 hours for a download?

There's something wrong there, that's for sure. Have a look at this KB article, it has some resolutions for that particular problem:

my friends were getting impatient, so I just reinstalled windows and it seems to be working fine now..
