    Bad CRC errors

Trying to download and install something is a very iffy thing right now. Eight out of ten programs won't install and I'm getting Bad CRC erors like the one in the attachment.

Removed and reinstalled everything in my Network Properties and that seemed to help for awhile.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Leurgy

Two things come to mind either a faulty/loose IDE cable or a ram module as the data is getting corrupted. So Id suggest swapping out the cables first.

Sorry for taking so long in getting back to you on this but after reading your response I opened up the case and found the ground wire from the power switch had come loose and was resting against the mobo and one ram module. I reattached the ground and everything was fine after that. So it would seem your reply was right on the money. Thanks.
