Capture Card/ TV Tuner problem
I recently bought a COMPRO FM/TV Tuner/ Capture Card.
Everything works fine so far. I can switch between composite and TV mode just fine while running the supplied COMPRO software. However, when I am running yahoo messenger or another video conferencing software, it always broadcasts my TV on the web camera instead of my live composite video camera. I cannot locate a global setting to always use composite cable setting as default for broadcasting. Please advice. Thanks.
my code doesn't break, it only bends

i dont know about a global setting but within the other programs you should be able to specify where you input stream comes from
i know with msn i was playing the feed from my kids microscope till i pointed it back to my usb camera ... seems like it defaults to the most recently installed capture device

ROW, its the same capture card that is a TV tuner card also. In yahoo, I have an option to set the camera source but there is no sub setting to toggle between the composite and tv.
Wihin the program shipped with the card, I can switch b/w tv and composite (where composite is the camera) but this setting doesn't persist in any other program (i.e. yahoo messenger)

yes and I have done that before with my old capture card. I wanted a tv tuner/capture card combo but it will only broad cast the TV.
