Advice please!
Couple of days ago Turkish Telecom connected me to ADSL, an engineer came and fiddled with my PC, it took him long time to connect me to internet through ADSL(256). Since then none of the avatars are showing up. Could you please tell me what might be the reason please?

Did they install their own branded version of Internet Explorer? ou can tell from the title bar at the top, "Microsoft Internet Explorer supplied by.........

Hello,
It could be a number of things... check IE internet options if your using IE, check your firewall configuration if you have one... they may be taged as adverts (the avatars).
Alt: d/l Firefox and see if it works with that browser (I'm not a FF fan BTW)

I still have IE6.
Tools/internet options/advance.........is there anything there could be checked or unchecked please?

Make sure all the media is checked in the advanced tab... also:
IE Tools|Internet Options|Security tab|Custom Level|scroll to Scripting ... and check those.
I think avatar are Jscript so there where ur problem may be.

In Tools>Internet Otions>Advanced make sure that "Show pictures" is checked, and also "Play animations in web pages".
