System Fault hELP pLEASE
Hi Good Folks, my m8 needs help with a problem......
ASUS A7V8X-X KT400 DDR mobo
he just reinstalled xp pro but is now finding that IE is Freezeing on him quite a bit.....Also when doing a Defrag it says part way through---"Stop C000021A unknown hard error begining dump of physical memory".........then at re-boot he had a "Disc Boot Failure"....Any ideas as to what could be causeing this.....
He thinks it could be his hard disc.......I APPRECIATE your Help as always.......THANKS...

It could be the hard disk, but I would test the memory first, you can run either or both of these from floppy:
Memtest86
Windows Memory Diagnostic

But that is Exactly what I told him, n all i got out of him is an Arrogant "its not my Memory"...lol..
Also when he tries to do a Check Disc on his D: partition it stops half way.....I told him to do that in Safe Mode, so he going to try that out in morning....
He don't have the patiance like you n me...lol
