    microsoft services via computer management

    hope that someone might have an answer for this:

    is there a comprehensive listing of what is shown in services window under computer management?

    what i'm looking for is a list that will say: "yeah, you can shut that down, it's just bloat", well, not literally..just lookingfor guidance.

    i couldn't believe the amount of stuff that was in there!

    check it out on your own machine:

    right click My Computer>Manage
    double click in the left panel Services and Applications>Services

    You might want to check out BlackViper. This website explains each service and advice on which services are okay to disable safely.
