new AGV
Since I upgraded the AGV to version 7.0, it scans every day at 8am. Is there any way to disable this function.
I went to "launch AGV control center", and disable the "AGV scheduler" : still it does not do the job.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thank you

I have recently upgraded also and noticed the 8:00 AM scan setting. I tried to set the time to an earlier hour but was unable to. In the help file it says something about the scan time is not changable in the free addition of AVG. So I guess if we want to change the scan time or turn it off we have to buy the AVG Pro. addition.

know how to do, but how we behave when we don't know what to do

So I guess if we want to change the scan time or turn it off we have to buy the AVG Pro. addition.
Both the TIME it checks for daily updates and/or runs daily tests, and the ability to TURN OFF the daily updating/testing WORK FINE in the free AVG v7.0.298 that I just downloaded.
But -- you have to let it run a COMPLETE TEST, if you let it run a test at all. A USER (defined) TEST option is only available in the PRO version.

I'm using a slightly older version, 7.0.296 and schedulling has been successfully disabled on my machine, but it was installed from a fresh reformat.
Maybe you installed over the top of avg 6 which has caused a bug? Just a thought like.
