    I removed all the 01 files but they keep coming back!

    I saw no entry for where you'd used Adaware or Spybot Search and Destroy, so if you would follow the instructions in the link below then scan again with hijackthis and post a new log please.

    I did one better, I wiped the whole harddrive and started over. Now I am going to go back and install my firewall, adaware and hijack and wait till the next problem occurs.

    That was the drastic fix, but whatever works, I guess.

    I would add a program I use to block the spyware to start with. Spywareblaster works good for me. Download and install then update it, set it to protect all. It works in the background and you never see what it is blocking but it does a good just if you update it regularly, as in once a week. You can get it at the link below.

    Thanks for the link...I will do that right away. This PC was long overdue for a good clean up and now it is running like new again!

    Good. Now install the program I gave and those others in the link I gave before, Adaware SE and Spybot Search and Destroy, a good firewall and good antivirus and you should stay clean for a long time.
