Add a static DNS entry in Win2k server?
OK, we just moved to using Win2k server, and using it as our DNS server. We previously needed to use our hosts file for a couple of internal web sites that, due to firewalling, couldn't be seen internally without that entry.
So, instead of using our hosts file anymore, is there a way to add a static DNS entry into our DNS server so that we can change one entry rather than every employees hosts file?
Thanks

Use the DNS Management under Administrative Tools (look in the control panel of the server... or install the tools on your workstation to manage it remotely.)

OK, I'm seeing that tool. Where would I put in an entry for, say:
172.16.100.100 test.web.com

Basically you need to create an "A Record"...
This article describes it (and a bit more)... http://www.iisanswers.com/articles/dns_for_iis.htm
Also, try the help feature in the DNS management console.
