Backup my C drive to DVD
Is it possible to do this? If so please let me know how. I have a lot of Data on my C drive and my PC is running so slow that it needs to be wiped and started over. I don't want to lose all my data so if I can at least copy it to a few DVD's I could always get the files and folders back later when I need them.

Yes, you can burn things to dvd, just make data cds out of them.
Save what you would hate to lose.
You do have a burning program that will allow you to do that I hope.

Yes I do have burning software but I was hoping that there was a program that would burn my whole C drive.

Well, there are programs that can burn the whole thing, trouble is , it will get all the garbage too. I assumed you would want to get rid of that from what you posted.
May I suggest doing your Fresh install of the operating system and programs then Check out the advantages of Nortons Ghost 2003, Drive Image and the like.

Yeah you are right. I guess I will just save everything I really need to keep on another drive and install a clean OS on my C drive. My main problem is everytime I do it I end up forgetting to save something that was important.

In that case, get ahold of a copy of Ghost before you do the reinstall of Windows and burn an image of your C: drive to CDR. Then if you do forget to back up something important, you can use Ghost Explorer (it comes bundled with Ghost) to extract the file(s) from the image.
After you reinstall Windows, what I like to do, is install Windows and just the basic drivers and all your individual preferences and burn an image of that. Then next time you need to reinstall you save hours of work, and all you need to do is install your apps and Windows Updates.
Nick.
