    Wireless Router Suggestions

Its time to replace my old wireless router...the wired 3 port switch has went bad....wireless segment still works great...but..as I do not have a wireless card for my desktops.....time for a new router...

What are you all using....and tell me what you like and dislike about it.

I've heard that Buffalo Tech G has great stuff. I've heard they are pretty reliable. The next generation of D-Link DI-784 router (released) is a tri band a/b/g is another good one from what I've read. The good thing about this router it supports WPA. Any future products that I recommend to everyone is to purchase a router with this capability as WPA is more secure.

Guess I should have mentioned.....my old router is a di-713p 11mb standard...file transfer speeds are not important to me really.....as I do not use the network for that too much....mainly for net access among the other computers...The occasional file transfer between laptop and desktop machines are pretty fast as is....and the 100mb transfers on the wired segment is plenty fast...

You may want to visit the Windows Marketplace in hardware on routers. Many people have written many reviews pros and cons on the routers they have picked over these recent months and this should help you get some ideas.
