AOL buys Nullsoft (Winamp) and tries to stiffle the company?
This is sad from many aspects. Nullsoft is no more as original founder and creator Justin Frankle resigns! Here is a lijnk to read about it!
AOL loses Broadband customers and tells other customers to seek a different Broadband carrier. Why would anyone want anything to do with AOL? I am not sure why AOL does this sort of thing but it certainly has to hurt their profits and customer base!
It really is no wonder why so many people have not like AOL for years and the ones that do like them seem (having asked many people over the years) have never tried anything else so they have no basis for comparison! I just cannot believe AOL survives this type of behavior year after year. They are twice the cost of most ISP's and half the service! It's just amazing.
If it ain't broke, you arn't trying hard enough!!

C'mon, WinAmp died years ago, after it fell into the Black Hole.
What you saw of WinAmp after that was the equivalent of the women in the Dracula movies. They still look pretty hot, but they've been doomed to eternal damnation
