    Unable to open pictures.

    Sent a series of photos to a friend that I had received in OE. I don't believe in was in the .pps format, at least I could not find an extension as such.

    Just received a message from him;

    "Whenever we get attachments on "Easy Cd Creator 4" the page is blank....Don't know why...."

    Any ideas as to how he can open these pics?

    After posting, I went back and tried to forward that same e-mail and I notice in the attachments block that it is a .pps ext.

    I sent him a link for PPV, hope that does it.

    File extension .pps from what my google search turned up is arcview files. You said you got them from OE, where they sent to you?

    .pps files are part of the PowerPoint family

    They can be opened with the free PowerPointViewer, which apparently is what benton sent his correspondent.

    Jim that's what I thought to begin with but after a google search turned up arcview I began to wonder if I was right or not. Thanks for the info. I'll remember next time... .pps is powerpoint....
