    how can i trace ip

    Well
    how can i get ip of a fren with whom i am chattin to especailly with msn or yahoo messenger or chat
    is there any way
    i think i know it is in full header in mail
    but where during chat session
    please help
    by the way well in yahoo i got a mail from pakistan i know he is from pakistan but when i checked that ip that i got from her mail in www.whois.sc which gives location for ip then it says eygypt cario
    whats going wrong
    when i enter my ip it shows all thing right
    where and what going wrong
    do any body have any idea
    please help

    Just because the company in a certain country owns the ip, does not mean it is in that country.

    I would just ask them, if they wont give it you... you probaly dont need it anyways

    We are in no way going to help you get the local ip address of anyone you are chatting with on a messenger. If they wanted you to have their ip address for connecting to a server or a game they would give you the proper settings....
