    SpyWare & Adware etc

Now then, I use these--"SpywareBlaster" "SpywareGaurd" "Spybot-Search n Destroy" "Ad-Aware" "HijackThis" & CWShredder besides Full McAffee....BUT Spyware still seams to get through..Any Ideas as to How n Why it gets through!!
I do a clean every few hours....I use Bittorrents a lot n some sites are Notorious for Spyware!
Also noticed that "virtualdr" has got Adware!!

I am still learning about my REG n doing Regedit n discovered today for first time that I have HUNDREDS of instances of Spyware etc., etc in my Reg, probably doing nowt now but still resideing in Reg....Got some I never ever heard of n Never Been there, Honest....Here is where they are------

    HKCU/software/microsoft/windows/CurrentVersion/internet settings/zonemap/domains/
in there i got hundreds of instances of "Bounctek, Blazefind, Absolutedialler, Ass-Gals.com, BitchonMy D--k.net, & others CoolWWWSearch.msconfig is the Worst but now DELETED but still showing in above...God knows where those porny ones come from!!.....Can I DELETE All that is in the Above Safely....In Fact, can I delete All thats in Domains!!!??...

Once the use of the above programs are used to find and delete All Spyware etc., I thought All vanished from Comp (Deleted) but apperantly it is Not....This REG is a MineField in it!!
Your Answers will be Greatly Appreciated....THANKS ALL..

What type of spyware are you getting? Is it just cookie tracers? If so there really nothing you can do unless you turn of cookies in your browser.... Check the software you download. I recommend http://download.com for downloading software if they have it. It will tell you if it contains spyware. I only use one spyware software and thats Ad Aware. I know I should use more but ad aware finds most and if I feel I need to check with another its only a download a away. So far over the years I could keep out most spyware except cookie tracers.
A foolish man claims to know all, but a wise man accepts he doesn't.

scarecrowdr: From what I see, the "nasty" entries located in the registry key you listed are the Restricted Sites Spyware Blaster inserts for Internet Explorer. IOW, they are fine and you DO want them in there. (If you want to verify the list, open IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Security tab, click on Restricted Sites, and finally, the Sites button. The list inside should be the same "baddies" you saw in the registry.)

Please understand that I don't want to step on any toes... but you want to be very very careful going into the registry. The best thing to do is what you have done this time and ask before deleting anything.

I never Delete anything in Reg if I don't know what it is unless I ask first, that's why I'm here!...So another piece of my Brain is Educated!!!!Once again--THANKS All for Helping....Take Care, Dennis..
