dynamic drive
a friend of mine wanted to know what a dynamic drive was...
I looked on google..., and I was thinking that a dynamic drive was probably a drive with the DDO being used w/ it
I then looked in the computer management help file, and I no longer think that
what the heck is a dynamic drive?

It's a kind of software implementation of RAID that's available in Windows2000/XP. I'm not a big fan myself, I think it's a lot more trouble than it's worth. Here's an explanation from the online Resource Kit documentation - look in Chapter 12 for "Basic and Dynamic Disks":

I see...
more useless terms form microsoft..., they could've easily of just called them RAID, instead of "dynamic"...
