java applet disabled

im javascript enabled but cannot view java applets.

couldnt repair IE6. said mstime.dll was not installed or corrupted even though the latest version is installed. dont know how it is corrupted.

i also couldnt reinstall IE6 because there was an "error trying to uninstall this patch" (didnt specify what the error was)

i installed the java virtual machine but still cant view the applets.

what else can i do about the java problem? what could be wrong with mstime and why cant i uninstall IE?

See if you can replace the mstime.dll file with a copy of one from another computer.

dont know how it happened but the problem seemed to have corrected itself. i ran a java check and i can see im java applet enabled now.

go figure
