Lotus Approch97/ XP / LAbels
Problem printing Labels W/Approch
Recently upgraded from 98 to xp pro, (formatted NTFS ) have a large data base in Lotus smart Suite 97.
Seems to work under xp except for printing Labels, trying to print to a OkidataMl 320 Turbo
Have tried a lot of different drivers trying to get them to work on Labels . Can print Letter ok
None of the drivers will let me print Labels. Can save the Approch file send it to a 98 machine
open it on Lotus Approch their and print Labels to the Okidata Printer.
Anyone know of a way to get this done? Maybe I would be ahead to take all of data base to Office 2000.
Anyone have experience with doing this if it is possible? As looking now as if will have to go with a dual boot to make it work as it wont print over network either with printer hooked to 98 machine. So am assuming it is a xp/conflict

Actually, it sounds like the problem is with the Windows XP printer driver for the Okidata printer. However, a little more information might be helpful. What exactly happens (or doesn't happen) when you try to print labels on the XP PC? Are some settings missing from the printer driver setup?

YEs as I said I also think it is a XP driver problem as I have tried probably 8 to 10 different Printer drivers and none of them will print mailing Labels. How ever I dont see it as a XP / printer problem but as a Approch/ XP to print . That is why I was asking if anyone had a work around other than DUAL boot Someone out their has probably had this problem but maybe everyone has moved up from Lotus/ Approch 97
