    Can I prevent someone from loading a program

    How can I prevent someone from loading a program on my PC? Can I have it password controlled so only I can install programs?

    Seeing as though it was asked in WinME, one could surmise they are using WinME !!!

    COPO: Not without some sort of third party program or intervention. WinME doesn't have the level of security you are looking for.. You need Win2000 or XP for that !!

    Thx, I did add a password on Zonealarm for any program to reach out to the Net it will ask for a password.
